Food and Wine Seminars

Food and Wine Pairing Seminars began in Winter 2006. The Chatelaine uses her experience in the food and wine industry to create an educational format to make the most timid wine enthusiast confident after attending *three of the classes.

*The seminars are designed for Inn Guests, however a limited number of attendees can be accommodated.

Several wines will be tasted and paired with food to teach the experienced and novice wine enthusiast the best method to choose wines for their meals. This is formal training in a friendly atmosphere.

  • Wines from around the world are paired with international foods. Spicy, sweet, sour, strong flavors, mild flavors. All have good and bad potential for successful wine and food pairing.
  • Classic food pairings and unusual surprises.
  • Red wines with fish? White wines with cheese?
  • Vegetarian dishes and wine.
