One-half mile from the renowned Culinary Institute of America, one mile to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Site and Eleanor Roosevelt's Val-kill. And nearby are the Mansions of Vanderbilt and Staatsburg Mills Mansion. Minutes from major corporations, the Inn is conveniently situated for the business and weekend guest.

Every room is provided with private bath, fireplace, king or queen beds. Cable TV, VCR, Internet access are in every room. Beautiful original art adorns the walls, by Texas artist Jeri Moore.

Inn Facilities

sitting room in le petit chateauA full breakfast is served from 8:00-9:30am every morning. Hot and cold beverages are available twenty-four hours a day. Fresh fruit is abundant with plenty of freshly baked goods. Organic products are served whenever possible. Organic coffees and teas provided.

  • Two sitting rooms and a small conference room complete the spacious design of this historic house.
  • Two lovely porches, an outside patio and an upstairs deck provide relaxing views of a large, tranquil, clean  pond, dense forests and a small farm estate.
  • Cable TV, VCR, Internet access for the corporate traveler provided in each room.

Policies at le Petit Chateau Inn

When you make your reservation with Le Petit Chateau Inn, we guarantee that you will have a room when you arrive. Our reservation policy requires either the American Express credit card or a check to hold your reservation. We will not charge your credit card until the day of your arrival, nor will your check be deposited until the day of your arrival. We know that life is full of changes, and we are the only Bed  & Breakfast in the area that has a lenient TWO-DAY cancellation period.  Please understand that we are completely sympathetic regarding travel plan changes, and that is why we offer our forty-eight hour cancellation policy. However, we can not under any circumstances refund the room charges after the two-day cancellation period has begun. We also can not refund for early departures.
 
Thank you for your understanding. We will send an email confirmation requesting an agreement to these terms before your reservation is confirmed.

*NOTE: Culinary Institute of America Boot Camp attendees must cancel or change their reservation two weeks before their arrival date for a full refund. We will charge the full amount due after that time. The cancellation must be received by email or a phone call.
